The 1st Nordic Governmental digital Conference on Physical Activity willbe held on the 27th of October 2022. The conference will be free of charge and online only. It will be broadcasted live from the main studio in Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden. The Conference is financially supported by The Nordic Council of Ministers and contributions from the countries and speakers.
The goal with this conference is to increase the awareness of physical activity in different sectors across the Nordic countries, aiming to strengthen the work in the countries and highlight opportunities and challenges.
This conference will give us a valuable opportunity to strengthen the Nordic co-operation on physical activity, collaborate more, share experiences and promote the work with physical activity. This is important both in the short and long term locally, regionally, and nationally in different sectors in the Nordic countries.
During the conference it will be possible to update your knowledge and get inspired on how we can get our societies more physical active and on the move. Get examples of how we can collaborate across sectors to reach the global goals on NCD (non-communicable diseases) and sustainability. It will be possible to learn more about both immediate effects and long-term economic gains for societies when they succeed getting their inhabitants moving.
Target groups
The primary target groups are decisionmakers and key stakeholders in different sectors who work with physical activity in the local communities, at the regional or national level. The conference could also be interesting for NGOs, foundations, private sectors, researchers, and other professionals.
